Teakha is about community and a parsimonious lifestyle which celebrates the warmth of our hands, the little joys in life such as a piece of handmade cake or music from the back alley.

 

Taking cue from the Teakha spirit, our artist Maggie Wong conceived of a floral Art Wall as a welcome greeting to customers into Teakha’s home kitchen. The painting was executed in acrylic, but the artist chose to dilute the medium to the effect of almost as in water colour, to indulge the audience with the lightness of being.
